Oregon vs Houston Baptist Preview

The Oregon Ducks take on the Houston Baptist Huskies today in Mathew Knight Arena.

This will be the first meeting in the history of both schools. If Oregon wins this game, they will match their best start at home since the 2006-07 season when they started 9-0 at home.

Dominic Artis

Oregon is now led in scoring by two freshman. Damyean Dotson leads the team with 11.8 points per game, with Dominic Artis adding another 10.6 respectively. They are followed by Tony Woods and Carlos Emory, both averaging 10.5 points.

The Ducks could have their hands full with senior Art Bernardi who averages 14.3 points and 5.9 rebounds per game. Arsalan Kazemi and his 10.9 rebounds per game will be a big boost for Oregon, who continues to rebound well. Oregon will want to limit the turnovers, and have a better showing from the charity stripe if they hope to win.

The Ducks were on the verge of a top 25 ranking before their loss last week, a win today would start them on the path back to the top.

To watch the game, tune into the PAC-12 Network at 12pm PST.
