The Oregon Ducks will take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers today in Mathew Knight Arena. This marks the 13th meeting between the teams, with Nebraska holding a 7-5 lead in the series.

Dylan Talley

Nebraska, currently 6-2, will need to bring their “A” game against a rising Oregon team looking to make a statement. They will also need a huge game from Senior Dylan Talley. Talley is currently averaging 15.4 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game.

Oregon continues to spread the stats across the board with five players averaging double digits.

They also continue to climb the statistical rankings. Oregon is top 30 in the nation in free throw percentage (77.6), rebounding margin (+10.6), steals per game (10.2), scoring margin (+16.9), points per game (79.4), and field goal percentage (48.1).

Nebraska on the other hand is 283rd in points, 247th in rebounds, 293rd in assists, and 154th in field goal percentage per game.

Oregon will need step up the defense in this game and shut Talley down. If they can manage to do that then they should be just fine.

To watch the game, tune into Fox Sports Network at 1:30pm PST.
