The Oregon Ducks stormed from behind in a win against UCLA on Saturday night, beating the Bruins 76-67 after trailing for most of the first half.
Tony Woods dominated scoring with 18 points. Dominic Artis, originally a UCLA commit, added 14 points. Arsalan Kazemi and Damyean Dotson rounded out the leading scorers for the Ducks with 12 and 11, respectively. This was a team effort from the Ducks who once again out-rebounded their opponents, this time 37-28. The Ducks are now 5-0 in conference play for the first time in 39 years, with an overall record of 16-2.
UCLA shot a little more consistently from the field than Oregon, but the Ducks hit key shots when needed. Kazemi had another 11 rebounds, which goes to show just how valuable he is to this Ducks team. This win was significant because the Ducks went into L.A. and swept both teams, leaving with a perfect conference record intact and becoming the front runner for the PAC-12
Next up, Oregon takes on Washington State in Matthew Knight Arena on January 23rd.
