The Oregon Ducks take on the Utah Utes tonight in Matthew Knight Arena. Utah has the worst record in the Pac-12. With or without Dominic Artis, the Ducks should have no problem beating the Utes. If they do they are in for some trouble. Oregon desperately needs to win this game and get back in the hunt for the NCAA tournament.
Utah is 235th in points, 126th in rebounds, 72nd in assists, and 98th in field goal percentage per game. In comparison Oregon is 59th in points, 34th in rebounds, 106th in assists, and 73rd in field goal percentage per game. The toughest test for Oregon will be limiting the production of Jordan Loveridge who averages 11.9 points and 7.1 rebounds per game, and Jason Washburn who averages 10.6 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.
Oregon needs to win the battle of the boards and limit turnovers to get the win. They have also been having trouble controlling the lead in the last 5 minutes of play. The Ducks will need to reach down deep and play all 40 minutes to get back on track and finish the season strong.
To watch the game, tune in to into the Pac-12 Network at 5pm PST.
