The Oregon Ducks take on the UCLA Bruins tonight in the finals of the Pac-12 tournament. These two teams only met once in the regular season with Oregon taking the game 76-67.
The big story line for this game will be the absence of Jordan Adams for UCLA after an injury. Adams put up 24 points last night, 18 in the second half as the Bruins beat Arizona 66-64. This will be a huge blow for the Bruins, as Adams is averaging 15 points a game and is a cement guy for UCLA. Oregon looks to continue their streak into the offseason and into the big dance.
Oregon will need to win the rebound battle in this game and keep the fouls to a minimum. They can’t afford to let UCLA get free shots from the line. They will also need continued good play from their veterans and will need the freshmen to step up big. If the Ducks can win the Pac-12 tournament they should receive a better seed in the NCAA tournament.
To watch the game, tune in to ESPN at 8 pm PDT.
