The starting shooting guard for the Ducks’ men’s basketball team goes by the name of Dot.  Most know him as Damyean Dotson, the talented soon-to-be sophomore.

In June, Damyean was selected as one of sixteen finalists for the 2013 USA Basketball Men’s U-19 World Championship Team.  The players selected to this team are some of the top talent nineteen years of age or under that America has to offer.  The Billy Donovan coached crew is 6-0 against the world in FIBA U-19 competition.

Although he did not make the cut to the final 12 man roster, making it to the final cut is a great feat.  The roster is filled with extremely gifted guards such as Marcus Smart (Oklahoma State) who is projected to be a top five pick in the next NBA draft.

Dotson looks to improve on last year’s great rookie campaign with a bright sophomore season.
