The Ducks will Reign Supreme

Puddles on Parade

Amazing Moments

Ladies and gentlemen, we are finally close to arriving at our destination.  Thank you for your patience and consideration as we have been gone for nearly 9 months and are less than a week away from the kickoff of the 2013 football season.  Less than a week away from seeing our new look Ducks hit the field to play against a subpar opponent.  It’s not exactly the most exciting way to kick off the football season for our Ducks, but boy does it get interesting after Week 1.

Mariota is the man to bring us a national title

Mariota is the man to bring us a national title

Two amazing non-conference match-ups await in heading to Virginia and then playing Tennessee at home the following week.  After the pretty tough non-conference schedule, the Ducks host Cal to kick off the Pac-12 Conference season.  It only gets tougher from there as there are games against UCLA, Stanford, Oregon State and Arizona, not to mention traveling to Seattle to face the Huskies.  Man, I hate that purple!

The highly anticipated season is quickly approaching, and no one can be more excited to see our Ducks try to win a national title than I am.  It was a great run under Chip, and boy did we come close against Auburn, but in Marcus I trust.  He is poised to win countless personal accolades this season and with similar play calls and an improved defense, we should be able to make another serious run at a Pac-12 championship, along with a possible National Championship Game appearance.  Marcus Mariota is the guy to lead us to the promised land.  Here’s a cheer to him for making it happen!

I personally don’t care about the Heisman and I know the Duck Coach’s don’t either, I mean they do to a degree, but not at the cost at a Championship. Marcus will be out at halftime about half the games and really isn’t that a good thing, because it give’s our back ups valuable reps that they seriously need just in case. Hmm National Championship or Heisman, well that’s pretty darn easy to answer, maybe not for Johnny Football, but who cares 20 years down the road if the Ducks reach the promised land, which more than likely it is going to happen. Beside’s the Heisman being over rated shouldn’t it be given after the last Football Game has been played, after Marcus has tossed the winning TD to Dat in the End Zone to beat Ohio St in the Rose Bowl and who care’s that it wasn’t BAMA, that will be next year!
