NFL Ducks: How They Fared in Week 1

Chip's offense and crazy signs seemed to work in Philly, too

Kevin Cline

After months of anticipation, the NFL regular season kicked off last week, with several Ducks getting their first taste of the next level.

Shout out to Chip Kelly for a solid showing on Monday night, winning his Eagles debut in style, and looking a lot like the Ducks on offense in doing so. They didn’t move the ball like say Oregon vs Nicholls, but, especially in the first half, the Eagles were fast, effective and exciting. And most importantly, they came away with the road win.

Regarding some familiar ex-Ducks still hoping for a shot in the NFL, here is a quick update about Jackson Rice and Michael Clay.
