Free passes help net 4-3 victory for No. 23 Oregon baseball over San Diego

No. 23 Oregon baseball (28-10) drew eight walks and were hit seven times by San Diego (25-11) pitchers on Monday at PK Park, helping them sneak by the Toreros 4-3.

Brando Tessar pitched seven innings without giving up a run. He accomplished the same feat last week against Portland. He gave up seven hits and one walk while striking out four on Monday.

Tyler Baumgartner went 2-for-3 with two walks and and RBI for the Ducks.

Pac-12 player of the week Mitchell Tolman went 1-for-3 with two intentional walks.

Victor is a senior at the University of Oregon, majoring in journalism and minoring in psychology. Victor was born and raised in San Francisco, CA. He is a fan of the San Francisco Giants, San Francisco 49ers, and Golden State Warriors and has naturally fallen in love with the Ducks since he became a UO student.
