My friends, I work with all the sites dedicated to Oregon football, but one man really stood out in being able to find information that no one else could, especially in the Oregon Football Recruiting world. Justin Hopkins has simply been incredible for Oregon fans and so much of the recruiting information you read on these pages came from him after his readers enjoyed the delicious news first.
He was very generous in sharing his expertise with FishDuck.com readers, and in turn we promoted the site at which he previously worked. It worked well for both parties as Jhop is a stand-up, hard working, honorable man. It brings me great joy and a sense of pride to have this opportunity. Many of you know there is no greater feeling than owning your own business, and now I can consider myself among those of you.
For those of you that don’t know me, it’s pretty easy. I’m Jhop, Justin Hopkins, living in beautiful Southern Oregon. I have three amazing kids that love to play sports (and love even more when I coach them), and I write about the Oregon Ducks. (Sometimes craft beer, too.)
I’ve met so many of you around town, at games, at Duck clubs. You name it, I’ve run into a lot of you amazing Duck fans.
For the last eight years, I’ve invested my time and efforts into this Oregon market getting to know recruits, coaches, fans and just about everyone in between. With my hard work and passion for what I do, I’ve been fortunate enough to become one of the top insiders in this unique Oregon football market. And as many of you know, that’s no easy task.
I’m not afraid to speak my mind, and I’m not afraid to put in the work.
I’m definitely not afraid to go the extra mile to get the real inside scoop about your beloved Ducks whether it be injury reports to official visits to coaching news. I cover it all, and I absolutely love doing it.

Charles Fischer has been an intense fan of the Ducks, a season ticket holder at Autzen Stadium for 35 years and has written reports on football boards for over 23 years. Known as “FishDuck” on those boards, he is acknowledged for providing intense detail in his scrimmage reports and in his Xs and Os play analyses. He and his wife Lois, have a daughter Christine, reside in Eugene Oregon, where he was a Financial Advisor for 36 years and now focuses full-time on Charitable Planned Giving Workshops for churches and non-profit organizations.
He does not profess to be a coach or analyst, but simply a “hack” that enjoys sharing what he has learned and invites others to correct or add to this body of Oregon Football! See More…
