Predictions: Oregon is going to be fighting an uphill battle from the beginning. A proven ASU defense, and efficient ASU offense against an inconsistent Oregon offense without its best player.
On defense Oregon needs to play fast and get pressure on the Osweiler early and often. This is no walk in the park, but ASU definitely isn’t as accomplished as everyone thinks they are, and showed a lot of problems against Illinois earlier this season.
On offense, DAT, Carson and Barner obviously have to step up, but beating the ASU defense is going to require a balanced attack. Darron Thomas needs to be accurate and the entire receiving corps have to, play their best game of the season in order for the Ducks to come away with this one.
This game will be one to remember, no doubt about it.
Oregon: 34 ASU: 24
