Marcus Mariota was the center of attention at the
2015 NFL scouting combine at
Lucas Oil Stadium. And the Heisman winner didn’t leave without a memento from NFL staff photographer
Ben Liebenberg, who released a photo of Mariota on
Instagram yesterday.
The photo depicts the Oregon Ducks’ highly decorated quarterback and native Hawaiian in a stunning, royal blue jacket, firmly holding a football displaying the NFL logo.
Liebenberg vast portfolio includes photos of past NFL combine participants such as former Heisman winner
Robert Griffin III and the Ducks’
Rose Bowl victory over
Florida State in the
College Football Playoff semi-final game.
Liebenberg photos appear regularly in ESPN the Magazine, The New York Post, and Sports Illustrated.
Mariota’s photo session was part of the former Oregon quarterback’s ceremonious reception at the annual NFL scouting combine.
Mariota also participated in a press conference, answering a barrage of questions concerning his transition from college to the NFL and his current training with Cleveland Brown quarterbacks coach Kevin O’Connell.

We will be publishing between four and six articles per week during the football season, as we skip Saturdays with all the distraction of GameDay for us. Check through the week, and in particular check for Analysis articles on most Fridays.
The Our Beloved Ducks Forum (OBD) is where we we discuss the article above and many more topics, as it is so much easier in a message board format over there. At the free OBD forum we will be posting Oregon Sports article links, the daily Press Releases from the Athletic Department and the news coming out every day.
Our 33 rules at the free OBD Forum can be summarized to this: 1) be polite and respectful, 2) do not tell anyone what to think, feel or write, and 3) no reference of any kind to politics. Easy-peasy!
OBD Forum members….we got your back. No Trolls Allowed!
