Register for Posting Comments on FishDuck!

(See Directions Below)

Only an administrator can add new users.

* Is a required field, and the others are optional. (But please fill them out to help me serve you!)

This registration is for posting comments below the articles only.  This is not a newsletter sign-up, as we will not have any newsletters after all, since my opinions are in my weekly articles!  And please, if you sign up to post comments, then please post comments!  We want to know your thoughts on Duck-topics…and no matter what your opinion–everyone has to be nice to each other on this site. (The only truly safe place to post on the web!)

–Your Posting Name, as that name and your password is what you will sign-in, or log-in with going forward. Come up with a unique Posting Name, as that is what identifies to the readers “who” your posts are written by, and the name they will know you by on the site. I encourage everyone to come up with a pseudonym for the Posting Name when registering, and not your actual name for a Posting Name. A pseudonym is a prudent way to stay safe in today’s unusual environment.

Your actual name below that is optional, however it will not be shown to anyone on the site or anywhere, but is handy in my (Mr. FishDuck) communications to you. Please do fill it in as again–only I will see it.

An email will be sent to confirm your registration, so use an email address that you check. In the email that comes to you–you must click on the link that confirms your valid email address, as you have done a hundred times elsewhere on the web. (At FishDuck, I do not share your information with anyone, and your registration confirms your understanding and agreement to our Terms of Service/User Agreement  and Privacy Policy)

As explained above, the confirmation email will have a link to your own FishDuck Account Page that you will want to save, and make your quick choice of display name when you post a comment. (See the two-click directions in confirmation email) Easy Peasy!

A phone number is optional, but please fill it in as it is handy if I want to discuss a comment or get your feedback about changes on the site. (I have the phone numbers or emails of thousands of people associated with the site, the occasional newsletter list and YouTube channel over nearly ten years and have never shared that information with anyone or anything. I live by the Golden Rule!)

About Yourself is a personal bio, so tell me about your journey as a Duck in the biographical information. See a bio below an article for an example; keep it clean while having fun with it as we all have interesting stories. (Or come back to this later)

An Avatar, is a picture that will appear next to your Posting Name, so upload a picture of you, something Duck-related or anything to make it that much more interesting to the other readers.  If you are unable to for any reason–send me the picture or a link to a picture you want reduced in size and inserted and I’ll do it for you!  charles@fishduck.com

Do read our Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy and mark the boxes to continue the registration process.

-Create your password and it will not be accepted unless it is at least of Medium difficulty for the spammers.

–By registering, you are acknowledging that you have read our posting rules and will follow them. What we have achieved in this community was said to be an impossible goal in the early days, because unlike every other site in the world… people are nice to each other at FishDuck. (like nowhere else!)

How will you fit in here? It is simple; all our rules can be summarized to this: 1) be polite and respectful, 2) keep it clean, and 3) no reference of any kind to politics. Easy Peasy!

These rules are what have made this site a GREEN REFUGE from the real world, where we can discuss Our Beloved Ducks in peace and civility. This is a very special community that has extraordinary discussions, so jump in as the water is fine for all Ducks! We want all opinions across the spectrum as this is the only safe place to discuss them, and by reading all the different perspectives–we learn from each other and become better fans. It has worked for over four years now, as there is no site like FishDuck!
